Hola mi familia! I thought I would share something with you all. Currently I’m at the eye doctor with dilated pupils so excuse any typos, I just couldn’t wait to share this with you all.
Everything i do is related to social media. I’m a writer, journalist, and influencer, all things that involves me to use social media.
I love it but sometimes you need a break. You need to live outside of the internet for a bit. You need to breathe. I do this by reading a physical book. Ebooks are nice but there is something about a physical book. I love them!
Go for a walk or just get fresh air. It will do wonders for your self care.
Buy or cook a great meal, one you like! I love food and having a healthy relationship with it is important. It’s also important to treat yourself to your favorites.
Hangout with a good people. Spend time with people outside of the internet. It’s important to have real life interaction with people.
Take a nice bubble bath full of bath bombs. It’s so relaxing!
Make a cup of tea. Guys, I haven’t had tea in weeks! I’m slightly upset (and kind of dramatic)! But I love curling up with a cup of tea and relaxing.
Get a coloring book! It really helps with my anxiety which I realize gets triggered with social media, specifically Facebook.
I love social media and all the opportunities it has given me. I’m honored to be known as a Top Digital Influencer but I also realize that self care is important and taking a small break never hurt anybody. Besides I come up with great content when I’m taking a break from social media. It gives your brain a refreshing cleanse to come back with better stuff. Normally my cleanses only last a few days or a weekend. Either way I notice how much it helps me.
