Presidential Election+Open Letter

My readers,

I know a large majority of you are American (I keep up with those numbers). I never brought politics into S.A. the Writer because I never felt like you all came on here for that. But I was wrong, because everything I post on here ties back into our rights.

I’m sure you all know how important this presidential election is. I’m not going to tell you who to vote for, but I will ask you to keep this in mind: love defeats hate all the time.

Love conquers all, when you put out hate you’re doing harm to our civilization. I’ve met racist, misogynistic, overall clueless people before. If this election shows you anything, let it show you the hate that still fills our world.

I’m a firm believer that love is so much stronger and powerful than any amount of hate. We have a long way towards peace and we need our next president to be kind, understanding, powerful without oppressive, honest, loyal, and full of love. Like I said, I’m not telling you who to vote for, but I am telling you that hate is a harmful tool. Hate causes chaos, we don’t need hate.

People who cause chaos are weak. People who share love are strong. Our country’s past is not the greatest, but I believe with the right leadership we could finally be great.

Keep in mind that our country is based on the “American dream”. Shouldn’t the dream be full of love and honesty? Shouldn’t we build up our neighbor instead of tearing them down just because they are newly American?

Be brave and stand up for each other. Our country was founded by immigrants, how dare we treat immigrants differently now. African Slaves were forced to this country, they helped build this country, so how dare you take the lives and rights away from African American women, men, and children?

America has given birth to people who have change the world. Why make higher education impossible to afford.

Why is it okay for the American women not to have the right to do whatever they want with their own bodies?

Disabled Americans make up this country also, they contribute to this country. Why are they ignored and mocked?

I believe in peace and love. I believe in standing up for people who can’t stand up for themselves. I believe love is the most powerful tool. I believe that you should use your voice and the only thing that comes out of it should be love and peace, not hate and chaos.
